MOU Signing Ceremony Held as Part of AMEICC's ASEAN Market Entry Support Program

KOBE, JAPAN  – NINZIA Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Kobe; CEO: Masahiro Yorita), a startup shaping the future of food through Texture Engineering, held a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony on February 16, 2025, with Singapore-based Pro-health Water Technologies. The ceremony was conducted as part of the ASEAN Market Entry Support Program by AMEICC.

Pro-health Water Technologies specializes in proprietary technology for precisely controlling the amount of minerals in water, such as calcium and magnesium. This agreement marks the official launch of a joint research initiative from a "water" perspective, aimed at developing an even healthier "NINZIA PASTE."

 

Purpose of the MOU with Pro-health Water Technologies

The objective of this MOU is to develop healthier variations of NINZIA PASTE by leveraging Pro-health Water Technologies' proprietary technology for precisely adjusting minerals in water.

NINZIA PASTE is made from water and konjac powder, and its texture and properties can potentially change depending on the water's composition. To test this hypothesis and identify the optimal water conditions, the two companies will conduct joint research and development.

Furthermore, the collaboration will explore how creating different variations of NINZIA PASTE by altering the water can expand the range of options for addressing health challenges like diabetes.

AMEICCのASEAN進出伴走支援プログラムの一環としてMOU締結セレモニーを開催

あたらしい食のカタチをつくるテクスチャ・エンジニアリング・スタートアップ株式会社NINZIA（神戸市中央区、代表取締役：寄玉昌宏、以下「当社」）は、2025年2月16日、AMEICCのASEAN進出伴走支援プログラムの一環として、水中のカルシウムやマグネシウムなどのミネラル量を正確に管理する独自技術を持つPro-health Water Technologies（シンガポール）とのMOU締結セレモニーを実施しました。 これにより、よりヘルシーな「NINZIA PASTE」の開発に向けて「水」の視点から共同研究を本格的に推進していきます。

 

■Pro-health Water TechnologiesとのMOU締結の目的

今回のMOUの目的は Pro-health Water Technologies の「水中のミネラルを精密に調整する技術」を活用し、よりヘルシーなバリエーションのNINZIA PASTEを開発することです。NINZIA PASTEは「水」と「こんにゃく粉」からできており、水の性質によってテクスチャや特性が変わる可能性があります。その仮説を検証し、最適な水の条件を見出すため、共同で研究開発を進めていきます。また、水を変えることによってNINZIA PASTEのバリエーションをつくり、糖尿病などの健康課題をクリアするための選択肢を広げられる可能性も探ります。
